Reporting to the Senior District Accounting Assistant, the Accounting Assistant will work closely with the district to ensure information is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
The Accounting Assistant position is responsible for ensuring compliance with Company Policies and Procedures while working with a diverse group of stakeholders.
This position is based in the Winnipeg, MB office and is a 1-year term position.
What you will be working on- Review CDN subcontractor documents, including subcontracts, invoices and change orders.- Complete data entry of USD subcontracts, including subcontracts, invoices and change orders.- Data input of subcontractor compliances.- Processes weekly and monthly cheque runs.- Reconcile subcontractor holdback invoices and process for payment.- Prepare month-end working papers and additional ad hoc reports.- Data input journal entries (as required)- File project related documents in company repository.- Maintain and organize confidential documentation.- Ensure compliance with Company Policies and Procedures are adhered to.- Execute additional duties and requests as assigned.
