Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at a busy restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and guidelines. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality dishes that meet their expectations.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
  • Cook food items according to recipes and portion sizes
  • Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and safety of meals
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations
  • Assist in the development of new menu items
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in the food industry as a Line Cook or similar role
  • Proficient in food handling, preparation, and service techniques
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations

Note:
This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated accordingly.
