ACG Construction is a small, privately-owned property maintenance and construction company, specializing in managing and maintaining its own portfolio of retail locations and warehouses totaling over 120,000 sqft. Our core competencies include property upkeep, property repairs, property upgrades, and new construction. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented individual to join our team.


Position:
Maintenance and Warehouse Assistant


Type:
Full-Time


Hours:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (with 30-minute unpaid lunch)


Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:


  • Maintain and organize the warehouse for easy accessibility of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment and supplies.

Equipment and Vehicle Upkeep:

  • Perform regular maintenance on trucks, vans, skid steers, scissor lifts, and other company equipment
  • Ensure all equipment and vehicles are safe and ready for use

Material Management:


  • Pick up and deliver materials and equipment to various sites in Company Vans, Trucks, or Trailers
  • Prepare materials for the day's work, ensuring teams have what they need to complete tasks efficiently.

Basic Property Maintenance:


  • Filter changes, light bulb and ballast replacements
  • Grass cutting, snow shoveling, and general outdoor upkeep
  • Parking lot maintenance, garbage collection, graffiti management, and fence repair
  • Various other tasks

Requirements:


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 12 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of construction equipment and tools
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to Pickup & Move trailers under 10,000lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Aptitude to work at heights (Climbing Ladders/Roof Access Hatches, Working from Scissors Lifts or Scaffolds)

Desired Skills:


  • Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems
  • Moderate understanding and experience with Auto-Mechanical Repairs & Maintenance
  • Experience with HVAC maintenance
