Location:
Toronto, Keele St. and St. Clair Ave.

Salary:
Hourly, commensurate with experience

Duration:
Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours, 8:30am - 5pm, with occasional over-time

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

Take direction from Collections Manager to store or retrieve artwork and other items
Receive shipments and assist with packing and loading trucks
Handle and pack artwork and other sensitive articles for storage or outgoing shipment
Work alongside Collections Manager to update and maintain inventory database
Record inventory, measurements, and other notation
Maintain a high level of care a security
Heavy lifting / manual handling is required.
Operate forklift, pump truck, and basic power tools as required

REQUIREMENTS

Experience working in a warehouse or storage facility
Experience working with packing lists, inventories, and databases
Experience handling sensitive items in a secure environment
English communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Experience in the fine art industry or in a trade an asset
Forklift certification an asset
Valid G class driver's license an asset
