The Service Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling maintenance and safety inspections for company trucks, trailers and heavy equipment in an accurate and efficient manner to minimize down time.

You will also ensure that all vehicles are licensed prior to the expiry date.

What's expected:

The Service Coordinator
Parts and Service is responsible for coordinating and scheduling maintenance and safety inspections for company trucks, trailers and heavy equipment.
In this role you will set up and coordinate service calls for trucks, trailers and heavy equipment, ensuring parts are in stock for service repairs.
Coordinate and schedule service calls with third party vendors to have trucks, trailers and heavy equipment serviced under the preventative maintenance agreements.
Coordinate maintenance for brokers.
Create purchase requisition forms for parts and service calls and ensures appropriate details and approvals are provided.
Schedule towing with towing companies when company trucks and trailers have broken down on the road.
Ensure proper documentation is submitted and entered into the system for tracking service calls, safety inspections for company trucks, trailers and heavy equipment.
Track maintenance service reports into the data entry system.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry (MP2); enter daily mileage/hours of company fleet;
Licensing company fleet ensuring deadlines are met prior to expiry dates.
