2023 Summer Student Opportunities Technology & Operations - Business/Operations Analyst, 4 Months (Montreal)

**What is the opportunity?**

**What will you do?**
- Assist in the documentation of end-to-end project requirements.
- Create use case, data catalogue business rules, and documentation, as well as contribute to reporting and process improvement.
- Assist with the transition of projects from development to support.
- Conduct accurate and timely investigations when issues occur.
- Track all work requests (Problem Tracking Records, System Change Requests, Investigations, Work Items) and maintain accurate details and priority ratings.
- Follow up on all requests that have been opened to ensure that the Technical and Quality Assurance (QA) Teams adhere to the change management process.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus in business, commerce, or an equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).
- Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment.
- Strong MS Office skills - Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

**Nice-to-have**
- Capability to manage multiple priorities across a number of assignments and prioritize effectively.
- Motivated and analytical, with strong achievement orientation and attention to detail.
- Understanding of Risk Assessment & Quantification methodologies.
- Experience creating process documents.

**En quoi consiste l'emploi ?**

**Quelles seront vos tâches ?**
- Aider à documenter les exigences globales des projets.
- Créer des cas d'usage, un catalogue de données, des règles d'entreprise et de la documentation et contribuer à l'amélioration de l'information et des processus.
- Contribuer à la transition des projets du stade du développement à celui du soutien.
- Mener des enquêtes précises et rapides lorsque des problèmes surviennent.
- Assurer le suivi des demandes de travail (registre de suivi des problèmes, demandes de modification de système, enquêtes, éléments de travail) et en consigner tous les détails et cotes de priorité.
- Assurer le suivi des demandes en cours pour veiller à ce que les équipes techniques et d'assurance de la qualité respectent le procédé de gestion du changement.

**Compétences essentielles**
- Être inscrit à un programme canadien d'études postsecondaires avec une spécialisation en administration, en commerce ou dans un domaine équivalent.
- Posséder d'excellentes aptitudes pour les relations interpersonnelles et la communication (orale et écrite).
- Avoir une pensée créatrice et analytique, faire preuve d'autonomie et être capable de travailler dans un environnement effervescent.
- Avoir de solides connaissances de MS Office - Word, Outlook, Excel et PowerPoint.

**Compétences souhaitées**
- Capacité de gérer des priorités multiples dans le cadre de diverses affectations ; établir efficacement les priorités.
- Motivation et esprit d'analyse, ferme volonté de réussir et souci du détail.
