Who we're looking for:
Privacy & Security Specialist
What you'll do:
- Supports the Contract Security Officer in ensuring that WCG meets contractual security and privacy requirements of the program
- Provides training for staff on privacy and security policies and procedures
- Communicates with WCG management, partner management, and federal departments related to ATIP requests and privacy and security incidents according to internal and contractual requirements.
- Oversees all ATIP requests received within
RSVP, ensuring that they are fulfilled as per the client's requirements and within the prescribed timeframes - Ensures protected and classified information and assets are properly handled and safeguarded both physically and digitally
- Supports the development of program policies related to security and privacy
- Conducts scheduled reviews to confirm compliance within privacy and security related requirements and standards, and supports annual Service Organizational Control (SOC) audits
What you bring:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in related field
- Diploma or bachelor's level education and/or equivalent experience in a related discipline
- Experience investigating security and/or privacy incidents, reporting causes and related weaknesses, and recommending remedies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of confidentiality and other professional codes of conduct
- Employment conditional on obtaining federal Reliability Status security clearance
- Bilingual in English and French is preferred
