Description
The Restaurant Server is responsible for ensuring that guests have a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. They must take orders, serve food and beverages, and handle cash and credit card transactions.

Servers must also maintain a clean and organized dining area, communicate effectively with kitchen staff, and be knowledgeable about the restaurant's menu items and specials.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet guests and make them feel welcome.
  • Present menus and make recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
  • Take orders accurately and enter them into the restaurant's pointofsale system.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all orders are complete and accurate before serving them to guests.
  • Respond to guests' requests for additional items and accommodate special requests.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Keep dining area clean and organized, including setting and resetting tables as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience and address any concerns or complaints.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members such as food runners to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a server in a restaurant is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Having strong English speaking skills is a must

From $16.75 per hour
