JLL is currently seeking an individual to join our Value & Risk Advisory team in Vancouver as an Associate Vice President.

As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, leading strategic initiatives, and driving revenue growth in our business.

The applicant will have the ability to complete complex appraisal assignments across the major asset classes while expanding our advisory and consulting capabilities.

This is anticipated to be a client facing role, which includes direct involvement in client meetings, presentations, and prospecting new business opportunities for JLL.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Involved in client meetings and presentations.
Assist in responding to large client RFPs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
Completing complex valuations for office, retail, industrial, and multi-family in Argus Enterprise with limited review or oversight.
Land residual and feasibility analysis for development land sites.
Assist in large portfolio mandates and high-volume delivery periods.
Building reliable, accurate cash flow projections for complex income producing properties with varying recovery structures.
Responsible for assisting in due diligence related to potential acquisitions.
Advisory services related to joint venture partnership structures, equity raising, and recapitalization for various partners.
Determining highest and best use, estimating market rents, and concluding to credible market values.
Conducting research and collecting data from both internal and external resources to aid in the valuation process.
Preparing all aspects of a CUSPAP-conforming appraisal report.
Continuously improving available skillset and market knowledge via participation in conferences, on-line learning, etc.
Provide a professional level of real estate based advisory and transactional services to clients.
Contribute expertise in a team-based work setting to various business opportunities conducted by other Company employees.
Providing mentorship, training, and guidance to supporting team members. When required, working with Analysts on team to complete appraisal assignments.
Assist in supporting and potentially improving our valuation tools, templates, and improvement processes (where applicable).
Ability to communicate and support valuation conclusions to clients.


WHAT YOU BRING:

5+ years of commercial real estate valuation or related experience.
ARGUS proficiency is required.
AACI designation is required.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Knowledge of key themes impacting capital markets and investment real estate.
Excellent verbal and written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Advanced analytical & writing skills.
Team player, with an ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
