What you'll be doing
Working with the Canadian People team, and supporting the Talent Acquisition Lead, your goal will be to provide full-cycle recruitment support to our teams across Canada, and provide consultative advice to hiring managers on advertising, selection, interviews, offers, and negotiation.
- Your ability to build strong working relationships with our teams will be critical to your success, as will your ability to attract and source highquality talent through a variety of platforms. Strong communication abilities, responsiveness, and a clientcentric mindset are all key qualities that will help you succeed in this role.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Providing recruitment services across multiple service lines and technical disciplines
- Partnering with hiring managers and teams to fill a variety of roles
- Completing offer letters and working with TA Lead to help provide compensation and market advice
- Keeping up to date with employment legislation relevant to recruitment
- Assisting with salary benchmarking and identifying/reporting market trends
- Assisting with talent sourcing strategies and plans to increase the pipeline of talent for future business growth, including University Coop Programs, Graduate Development Programs, Apprenticeships, Traineeships, etc.
- Working within the HRIS system to help find efficiencies and process improvements

Qualifications
- Postsecondary education in Human Resources
- 5+ years of fullcycle recruitment experience
- An understanding of the national recruitment landscape, and experience recruiting across multiple provinces is an asset
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (experience with Sage HRIS is a significant asset)
- Experience working in the environmental services, engineering, or mining industry is a significant asset
- Based in Guelph, Toronto, or Vancouver, with flexible work optionsCountry
