Account Manager, Waste Management - Richmond, Canada - Secure Energy

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Drive revenue growth and sustainability by maximizing business relationships/opportunities with existing and potential clients;
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure ongoing account management support is provided to existing clients in order to ensure client satisfaction;
- Develop sales leads and initial inside sales calls for the industrial services division in the Western Canadian market;
- Establish and maintain community relationships within the region;
- Prioritize business development efforts towards highpotential revenue generating opportunities and collaborate with internal operations teams to create strategies to increase revenue;
- Consistently meet and exceed annual sales targets;
- Collect market data to help identify new opportunities in western Canada;
- Maintain and update Customer Experience (CRM) platform;
- Utilize technical understanding to develop proposals and presentations for clients;
- Undertake market, geographic, and competitor analysis for existing service lines;
- Represent and promote SECURE at industry events and trade shows;
- Promote SECURE Energy's full portfolio to address a client's existing challenges and future objectives;
- Remain up to date on relevant industry regulations and trends including, upcoming projects, innovative technologies and competitor strategies/initiatives;
- Support other members of the sales team when possible in order to help promote open communication, team work, success and having fun;
- Occasional travel (up to 40%).
Qualifications/Competencies
The individual in this role will have:
- Previous experience in industrial services, waste management, hazardous waste, mining, water treatment, demolition, or environmental services is preferred;
- Excellent selling, communication and strong customer relationship building skills
- Possess an understanding of the principles, methods, and strategies used for promoting and selling services
- Solid work ethic, selfmotivated, able to work with very little supervision, and team oriented
- Must be an effective communicator and possess strong people, presentation, and technical writing skills
- A strong commitment to safety and understanding of behaviorbased safety culture
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required
- Post-Secondary Education in Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Agrology, Biology or a related discipline would be considered an asset
