Clinical Research Assistant I - Ottawa, Canada - OHRI
Description
The primary role will be recruitment of study participants in both emergency departments at The Ottawa Hospital.- Recruit participants into all ongoing program studies *must be available for evenings/weekends
- Assist Study Coordinator(s) with remote monitoring of all national study sites
- Assist Study Coordinator(s) with ongoing communication with sites to ensure compliance with study protocols
- Assist with data collection, data entry, data cleaning, followup of various studies
- Assist with study startup activities (approvals, regulatory documents, training)
Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):
- Secondary diploma
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook
- Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement 2 (TCPS2) and the International Conference on Harmonisation
- Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
- Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations, as applicable
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Adheres to confidentiality policy for sensitive patient data information
Preferred Qualifications:
- University Degree
- BSc preferred
- Bilingual preferred (English/French)
- Clinical research experience considered an asset
- Familiarity with database software an asset
Contract Details:
This is a 1-year full-time contract with the possibility of renewal.
Salary:
Min:$18.786/hr - Max:$23.914/hr
