Receptionist / Data Entry - Mississauga, Canada - Pivotal HR

Location and hours of work:
This is an in-the-office position with the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Lunch will be between 1 and 2 pm. The office location is near the corner of Derry and Dixie.
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility to go permanent.
- Be able to handle high volumes of transactions
- Must have 2 to 3 years of data entry experience
- Has to be well organized and flexible to change tasks as demands need throughout the day
- Must be able to prioritize and adjust tasks to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner
- Possess strong analytical skills
- Experience with multiple currencies is an asset but not mandatory
- Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player
Duties
- Reception
- General Administration duties
- Data Entry
Reception
- Answer reception enquiries both from guests and phone enquiries
- Greet inperson guests and visitors and ensure they are presented to the person they are seeing in a timely manner
- General Reception duties
Admin Clerk
- Process packing slips daily
- Process incoming and outgoing mail daily
- Filing for the Finance department on a daily and weekly basis
- Ordering of office supplies on a biweekly basis and on demand when required
- Ordering of office stationery supplies on demand when required
- General Admin duties
- Part of the interview/ recruitment process will be to complete a short 3question math skills testing.
