Full-time permanent position available immediately.


Primary Summary:


The Finance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and administering the financial records, systems and processesincluding accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and benefits, record keeping, banking, insurance and all related financial and officeadministration.

Reporting to the Director of Operations the Finance Coordinator works to improve the financial and administration group to create positive outcomes for clients, partners, and team members.

Position Responsibilities:


  • At the end of each month prepare and distribute financial reports
  • Sales tax filings
  • Accounts receivables and third party revenue reconciliations
  • Monitor the aged accounts receivables
  • Enter data/information into Skedule X system
  • Payroll and payment with employees and contractors
  • Assists with yearend preparation and procedures
  • Ensures financial information on employee files is up to date
  • Communicates with adjusters regarding approved, partially approved and denied invoices, as needed
  • Ensures accuracy in financial documents
  • Tracks Accounts Receivable and follows up to ensure payment of outstanding balances Tracks clinician time entries to ensure proper entry and billing
  • Respond to requests regarding how much time is remaining on partially approved OCF18s
  • Conducts routine audits of nonbillable time
  • Completes special projects for the Director and management team when required
  • Cover for the Finance Assistant, when necessary, to uphold finance department efficiency
  • Cover for the Treatment Plan Coordinator, when necessary, to create and submit OCF18s
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Office Administration, Finance or related field
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an office setting, preferably in financial role
  • Preference for Quick Books Online, Health Claims Auto Insurance, Skedule X
  • Knowledge of FSCO licensing, SABS and WSIB legislation is an asset

$70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
