What we are looking for:
Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the registers and minute books for various entities;
  • Drafting corporate resolutions, dividend materials, and legal correspondence;
  • Completing the corporate filings for various entities in all Canadian jurisdictions (such as annual fillings, extraprovincial filings and notices of change);
  • Assisting with the preparation of Board and committee materials;
  • Coordinating the incorporation, registration and/or dissolution and cancellation of legal entities;
  • Supporting corporate transactions, including assisting with the preparation of corporate documents and closing books.
Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

  • DEC in Paralegal Technology and/or 1-2 years relevant work experience.
  • Experience in a large law firm or with a reporting issuer is considered an asset.
  • Practical experience in managing corporate filings is considered an asset.
  • Ability to function in a dynamic, fastpaced and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Solutionoriented, with the ability to think pragmatically.
  • Collaborative approach and partnering focused mindset.
  • Excellent analytical, communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Resourceful selfstarter.

Additional Information:

  • Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 3 days inoffice per week

For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Working English proficiency is also required in order to serve our offices and clients around the world.
