Full-Time $18/hr IAA is seeking a Yard Attendant for our facility in Garson, ON.

IAA is a leading global marketplace connecting vehicle buyers and sellers.

Our focus on the automotive total-loss industry and over 14 corporate-owned facilities across Canada provides Sellers and Buyers with the best solution for high-mileage, aged or damaged insurance, rental, fleet, lease, finance, and manufacturer vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Completes visual vehicle inspections to obtain an accurate assessment of the vehicle in the form of a detailed and wellwritten report and taking pictures of visible damage on the vehicle
Completes accurate Condition Reports or a combination of Condition Reports and ramp inspections
Responsible for taking photographs of vehicles for remarketing, downloading the pictures to the computer and entering new data in an accurate and timely manner
Ensures vehicles meet acceptable standards by understanding, enforcing and facilitating the specific programs, rules and guidelines as established by the auction
Other duties as assigned

Educational/ Experience Requirements:

Valid driver's license and able to drive all types of vehicles (manual & standard)
Good vision and manual dexterity
Excellent reading skills and legible writing skills as well as the ability to make sound decisions and exercise common sense
Must be willing to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
Must be a team player
Reliability, punctuality and dependability are essential
Must have computer knowledge (in house programs)
Must be able to meet deadlines
Must be able to multitask
