UCSH is looking for a full time
Purchasing Assistant position. This is an on-site position in our Markham location.
WHAT'S THE JOB ABOUT?
Reporting to the Director, Door Division, the Purchasing Assistant position is responsible for all procurement responsibilities in the door department.
- Input purchase order details received from various parties to the GP system on daily basis.
- Development and distribution of purchase orders to key internal stakeholders
- Represent UCSH to vendor partners sending of purchase orders in a timely manner/adhering to defined SLA and follow up for approvals.
- Support the Senior Project Manager in the development & implementation of other key projects/activities as required
- Other duties as assigned
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS:
- Minimum high school diploma or
- 2 years of experience working in the purchasing department
- Experience working with Microsoft Great Plains is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good Communication Skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Strong organizational and time management skills
