We are currently looking for several Structured Cabling Technicians of varying experience to join our team in support of several major projects.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Install and service cabling infrastructure and devices for Data and Audio Visual and CCTV; includes prewiring, installation, termination, labeling, testing and reporting per specifications and drawings
  • Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms
  • Interact with customers and prospects, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally
  • Adhere to Paladin's Quality and Safety programs
  • Complete detailed and accurate documentation, including OHS checks, packing slips, checklists, asbuilts, test results
  • Consistently provide high levels of customer service
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Travel and overtime may be requested with this position on an ad hoc basis
  • Perform additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience pulling, terminating, and testing cat5/6 cables
  • Postsecondary education in electrical, telecommunications, electronics, or equivalent is considered an asset
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Must be able to lift upwards of 50 pounds
  • Valid Driver's License with clean abstract and no restrictions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Must be bondable and able to pass a background check
  • Strong problemsolving skills
