Title - IT Field Technician

Job Overview:

Must possess a clean Canadian driving record and valid Driving License.

Must have RCMP Security clearance

Must be a Canadian citizen
years of experience in a customer facing role in the IT industry.

Must be able to pass a background check, and authorizations required to access customer sites.
Strong verbal and written communicator with internal and external customers and able to translate and communicate technical information to stakeholders.
English: Fluent and Bilingual (English & French): Preferred.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Assemble hardware and professionally running cables within the cabinet.
Manage and deliver per SLA as defined by Thales

- work with the Thales Project Manager on all installations.

Identify and mitigate risks that may have potential impact to all services delivered.
React quickly and appropriately to incidents such as equipment failures.
Effective troubleshooting, escalation, analytical skills and ability to manage complex and technical tasks to deliver solutions that satisfy customer or internal requirements.
Experience with desktop setup and support, active directory, and regression testing.
Operates well in an environment of rapid change and comfortable operating with autonomy.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$18.14-$37.42 per hour
