The Mail Distribution Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of various items for Canada Life advisors and policyholders across Canada, with occasional shipments to the U.S.

This position is located at the Canada Life office in Winnipeg, MB (60 Osborne Street North).


What you will do

  • Deliveries and pickups of parcels/mail throughout Canada Life complex
  • Sort incoming and outgoing mail and obtain signatures for all courier items
  • Sortation of all returned mail and assess contents to determine appropriate delivery locations
  • Folding and manual insertion of outgoing distribution jobs
  • Process outgoing Registered letter mail
  • Assist with daily digitization(scanning) of incoming mail

What you will bring

  • Ability to deal with multiple demands with frequent interruptions
  • A focus on accuracy with an ability to retain and recall information quickly
  • A highly adaptable personality and ability to multitask
  • Working level experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to walk for long periods of time while pushing mail carts
  • Due to the high profile of a number of our clients, a Federal Government Enhanced Screening is a job requirement and this will involve fingerprinting and a credit check
