This person will work with our shop team of supervisors and parts people to ensure accurate and complete administrative support for our busy Grande Prairie shop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive all shop PO's daily and upload accordingly.
  • Communicate with parts people and Accounts Payable department to process vendor payable invoices for payment on a timely basis.
  • Working on items in "awaiting receipts" queue, daily, to resolve issues.
  • Edit the Preventive Maintenance work schedule for completed services in computerized preventative maintenance program (JD Edwards).
  • Help with the maintenance team to manage the equipment work orders in JD Edwards for equipment services.
  • Enter the equipment hours and mileage daily and weekly in computer, scan proper documents into equipment files and work orders.
  • Create Purchase orders for the maintenance shop when requested.
  • Do inventory transactions for completed services.
  • Run equipment PM backlog report 3 times per week and update info onto whiteboard.
  • Promote, execute, and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors, and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
  • Promote and adhere to company's Ethics policy.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications | Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D required.
  • Class 5 driver's license
  • Administrative diploma preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year administrative experience
  • 1 year experience in a maintenance or shop setting.
  • Experience in using JD Edwards, Onbase and Microsoft is as asset.
Working Conditions

  • Work is located in an indoor setting within our shop, which could include extended periods of sitting, standing, computer use and exposure to noise, dust and smells
  • Must be physically able to lift and carry at least 10 LBS on a regular basis, and 50 LBS on occasion.
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
