Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily accounting operations to support accurate and punctual financial reporting, develop and implement streamlined procedures and processes, and monitor payable and payroll functions.

  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Experienced in basic Google Sheets formulas and pivot tables.
  • Possesses key qualities including organization, pragmatism, resourcefulness, integrity, empathy, and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:


  • Establishing and maintaining control systems to ensure that processes and procedures are documented, implemented, and monitored, resulting in timely, accurate, and comprehensive weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Creating, executing, and overseeing financial templates, allocations, and reconciliations within the general ledger.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure prompt updating of ledger entries.
  • Conducting account reconciliations and monitoring control accounts to ensure proper clearing, including the preparation and posting of relevant journal entries for monthly accruals, prepaid expenses, and deferred revenues.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing cash flow reports.
  • Forecasting revenues and monitoring expenses for budgetary purposes.
  • Analyzing expenditures to contribute to spending control and variance reporting on financial results.
  • Supervising disbursement and collection functions to guarantee timely payments and collections.
  • Researching requirements, identifying current weaknesses, making recommendations, creating process maps and working with end users to implement procedure and best practice changes.

Compensation:

We are offering annual salary compensation in the range of $67,000 - $87,000 depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to the comprehensive benefits and pension plans available, we offer a performance based bonus structure.
