Apex Utilities Inc.

is a provincially regulated natural gas distribution utility delivering safe, reliable, clean, and affordable natural gas service to over 82,000 residential, rural, commercial, and industrial customers in more than 90 communities across Alberta.

Since 1954, Apex operates over 21,000 km of natural gas pipelines and over 700 pressure and regulating stations through a network of 16 district offices.

As a temporary full-time summer support, you will be providing administrative assistance to designated areas of business, which can include Operations & Engineering, Financial Services and/or Corporate Services.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Clerical and administrative duties as assigned which may include:
Data Entry
Scanning Documents
Organization of Files/Boxes
Project duties as assigned which may include:
Attending various meetings and taking minutes;
Collect, compile and assemble reports and statistical information for distribution internally and externally.

Qualifications include:

Completed first year of postsecondary* with enrolment in Fall 2023;
Class 5 Driver's license;
Ability to prioritize and organize assigned tasks;
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); and
Able to problem solve quickly.
