We are looking for a General Maintenance Technician at our Walker Gro-Bark Office & Processing Facility in Caledon, Ontario.

The general maintenance technician will have some mechanical aptitude, and/or experience performing light repairs on heavy equipment. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7 am

Core Responsibilities

Mechanically inclined and able to perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment such as wheel loaders and grinders.
Repairing or replacing defective components using hand and power tools.
Responsible for following the Company's preventative maintenance program and work order system in a timely manner.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to established safety protocols and best work practices.
Handling and caring for tools in a safe manner.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
