As a Financial Technician - Agriculture, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with contracts and agreements with producers, carriers and harvesters and for updating them for the Quebec plants.


THE ROLE:


  • Reconcile and analyze the amounts to be paid to producers (materials, transportation, harvesting, etc.) following the reception of vegetables while ensuring concordance with the agreements and contracts to issue daily reports while ensuring compliance with the date of payments;
  • Reconcile and analyze the amounts to be paid to transporters and harvesters following the reception of vegetables while ensuring concordance with the contracts and making sure that the payment dates are respected;
  • Maintain and analyze data related to producers (watering, seed sales, invoicing, seeding schedule);
  • Perform data entry of purchase orders, receipt and invoices for seed;
  • Transmit receiving summaries, seed and watering invoices weekly to producers during the season;
  • Follow up on seed inventories and verify the inventory during the season;
  • Processing of various invoices (seed storage, watering, etc.);
  • Communicate with the agricultural directors to validate the accuracy of our practices;
  • Produce reports and statistics (studies, analyses, comparisons) for the agricultural directors.
  • Ideally 3 years of relevant experience;
  • College diploma (DEC) in administrative techniques, office automation or accounting and management;
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Excel spreadsheet and intermediate level of proficiency in Word word processing;
  • Functional English;
  • Ability to communicate and structure information;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Ability to organize, work in a team.
