Position Summary:


As Product Owner for Talent, you will be responsible for the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting & Talent Management roadmap for Workday and other 3rd party systems.

You will have exciting tasks such as supporting the existing framework and paving the way in delivering future enhancements and functionalities.

As a member of the Agile Team, you'll also be responsible for defining user stories and prioritizing initiatives.

You will liaise with stakeholders and cross functional teams to create, own, and manage the roadmap to bring the most value to the business and users.


In a constantly changing matrix environment amongst diverse functional teams, you will be able to leverage your tactical and diplomatic approach when solving problems with stakeholders, ability to challenge the status quo and to propose innovative solutions, build strong stakeholder relationships, as well as strong user-oriented approach and independent, autonomous working ability.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Own the "product" from a "what" and "why" perspective (accountable for vision and requirements) for all Talent initiatives.
  • Drive to identify, configure/build, and execute the roadmap including future functionalities in Workday for adoption.
  • Work with agile team/pods to provide expertise in answering questions, addressing ambiguities, and mitigating any issues.
  • Be accountable for delivering incremental value every sprint, aligning with the overall goals from the business.
  • Own backlog prioritization of work to keep the vision of the product up to date.
  • Perform internal and external benchmark on HR processes best practices and corresponding solutions.
  • Monitor, analyze, and test items related to WD releases.
  • Participate in design groups and proactively recommend design best practices and technical solutions delivering high business value aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Provide HR process expertise and influence decisions on process design and solutions.
  • Foster relationships with executive sponsors, key stakeholders, and customers.
  • Act as Tier 3 to be able to triage and resolve complex support issues.
  • Help prioritize activities and CR's in partnership with the support team.
  • Ensure a consistent and integrated approach for HR transversal topics between Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance, etc. in addition to other domains such as Learning, Career Management, Workforce Planning, and Analytics.

Key Requirements:


  • 3+ years of Workday experience.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required, or certification in HR and/or IT.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Project Management: Ability to lead, align, and collaborate across organizational boundaries with strong partnership skills to manage stakeholder expectations. Evaluate risks, assess impacts, and arbitrate.
  • IT Strategy & Governance.
  • Global platform experience.
  • Application Design & Integration.
  • Compliance of Computerized systems.
  • Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly.
  • Demonstrated experience in project methodology (Agile methodology experience or certifications).
  • Experience in other functional areas such as compensation, security, performance, Core HR etc.
