Summary

The logistic coordinator is in charge of planning and scheduling driver routes while providing customer service support to drivers and client representatives. Responsibilities include maintaining records, monitoring daily logs, performing investigative tasks, and emergency planning to address delivery, inventory, equipment, employee, and customer concerns.

Essential Functions

  • Provide customer service assistance in a transportation setting.
  • Investigate and resolve daily delivery, inventory, equipment, staffing, and customer issues to ensure efficient work completion.
  • Plan daily routing and related activities.
  • Schedule equipment repairs and maintenance services proactively.
  • Prepare manifests and delivery trip logs for the warehouse.
  • Ensure timely delivery of emergency orders.
  • Review stops for efficiency.
  • Process all required logs and paperwork accurately.
  • Support Logistics Supervisor/Manager in quality control and administrative tasks.
  • Allocate daily workloads and drivers effectively.
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities.

Qualifications
