CanWest Concrete is hiring several seasonal concrete labourers for a subcontracted project located in Moose Jaw in September.
As one of Western Canada's leading concrete cutting and coring companies, we can solve any concrete problem.

We provide concrete cutting and coring services for projects of all sizes, from large industrial projects to small residential jobs.

Responsibilities & Job Duties

  • Concrete cutting
  • Assisting with Sawcutting Concrete and Asphalt
  • Vacuum slurry and remove concrete when required with hand removal, handcarts, machine removal and/or using other methods.
  • Collaborate with supervision to prioritize, organize, accomplish work tasks, and meet both daily and weekly schedules.
  • Have a good understanding of tools and materials onsite, including proper use and maintenance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must have a Minimum Class 5 Drivers License
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have and present a Government of Canada Personnel Screening Clearance
  • Experience with miscellaneous concrete cutting helpful but not required
  • Willingness to follow all safety procedures
  • Be selfmotivated and dependable
  • Some training will be provided We are looking for dedicated individuals who are willing to put in the time and effort to learn how to run a Diesel Powered Slab saw, Core Drill and Wall Saw and perform the above mentioned duties. Will need to be an extremely timely person, who is punctual and who is not afraid of hard work and learning new skills_

You may be an excellent fit for this position if you have experience with but not limited to: Concrete, Labourer, construction, construction Labourer, general Labourer, Concrete finishing, and concrete polishing.

Contract length: 2-3 weeks

From $25.00 per hour

  • Concrete: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class 5 Drivers License (required)
  • Government of Canada Personnel Screen Clearance (preferred)
