Job Summary:

Fort Sask Reno Inc. is seeking skilled individuals for the roles of Renovation Specialist, Laborer, and Carpenter.

This role involves transforming unfinished or outdated spaces into enjoyable, functional areas while striving to gather 500 five-star Google reviews.

Responsibilities:


  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform various renovation tasks including masonry, tile laying, construction painting, and demolition.
  • Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials and equipment.
  • Ensure proper installation of kitchens, bathrooms, and basement developments.
  • Install siding (wood, vinyl, metal), soffit, fascia, capping, eavestroughs, fences, decks, trim boards, rigid exterior insulation, general carpentry, windows, and doors.

Qualifications:


  • 25 years of experience in renovation or construction, depending on the position level (laborer or lead).
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, tile laying, and construction painting.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in renovation projects.
  • Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and roofing systems.
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Safety tickets (CSTS, Aerial Work Platform, Fall Protection) are an asset.
  • Must have Personal Protective Equipment (steeltoed boots, safety glasses, gloves) and basic hand tools (carpenter's pouch, hammer, tape measure, knife, basic power tools, etc.).

Working Conditions:


  • Heavy lifting pounds).
  • Working on ladders, scaffolding, and aerial platforms, generally at 20 feet or lower, occasionally up to 60 feet.
  • Dusty conditions requiring masks and respirators.

Schedule:


  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed
  • Generally, 8 hours a day, may extend to 10 hours with overtime opportunities.
