Richelieu Hardware is currently seeking Two Associate Sales Representatives one for the Okanagan area and one for the Vancouver area
. This position would start in our Inside/Counter Sales area at our Richmond or Kelowna Branch location, for approximately 3 months, and then gravitate to Direct Sales Position.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers;
- Improve sales by optimizing the product selection;
- Update the merchandising and present new products;
- Respond to inquiries about products and services;
- Participate in Sales meetings;
- Prepare information packages and other necessary supporting materials;
- Produce expense reports;
- Maintain updated information for customer records, prospects and service proposals;
- Contribute to the improvement of the development strategy and marketing plan;
- Continuously updating all customers on company product modifications, changes, and enhancements.
Requirements:
- College Diploma in Marketing or a related field, combined with relevant experience;
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Main focus is to sell our product lines to Kitchen & Millwork Manufacturers, as well as other industry sectors
- Excellent English communication (written and spoken);
- Good computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook;
- Selfmotivated, detail oriented with good presentation skills;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Organized, autonomous, resourceful, hardworking.
