_Autoport Limited is hiring Rail Workers at our facility in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia_
We are looking for trustworthy
full-time employees who are comfortable working year-round in a fast-paced unionized outdoor environment. You will be working with a unionized team to move and stage vehicles in the railyard, drive cars off bi
- and tri-level rail cars, and secure the vehicles to restrict movement in the rail car. You will enjoy working alongside a team of passionate individuals in a motivating, safety-oriented work environment.

Major Responsibilities and Duties

Load and unload vehicles onto railcars in compliance with Autoport Limited quality standards
Ensure vehicles are spotted in accordance with customer standards and properly spaced and secured within the railcar
Perform duties to prepare railcars for shipment such as opening and closing railcar doors, setting bridge plates, chocking and dechocking vehicles.
Adhere to all company and industryrelated safety standards

Qualifications and Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
Ability to push, pull, or carry up to 50lbs
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to adhere to quality and safety standards
Must be comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
Experience working outdoors in a labour intensive position is an asset
