Position Profile:
The Account Manager is responsible for promoting and selling IT Weapons Managed Services, Cloud, and strategic and complex IT project and procurement opportunities to existing clients.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong, longlasting client relationships
- Prospecting for new business opportunities in existing clients
- Maintain a forecast and pipeline for all IT Services opportunities in our CRM. This includes detailed communications and regular updates on activity within the account
- Prepare and present proposals/quotes to existing clients
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and exceed client expectations
- Engage in regular onsite team solution briefings/updates with the
ITW team to stay current with industry trends and latest
ITW services for client offerings - Work closely with our consulting teams and at times with our vendors on client engagements and opportunities.
- The Account Manager is responsible for owning the sales cycle and engaging appropriate resources as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in a client facing sales role in an IT environment
- Previous experience selling managed services and cloud solutions
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and targets on a regular basis
- College Diploma or equivalent education
- High level of business acumen, in order to have "business discussions with business people"
- Experience using a CRM system and selling IT services and technology products
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to process and work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to build rapport with clients to sell
ITW services and offerings - Strong organizational skills including time management, prioritization, etc.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced, highly collaborative, teamoriented environment
- Able to multi task, while being flexible to constant change
- Able to meet timeline targets while maintaining productivity and efficiency metrics
- Able to liaise with clients, vendors, partners, and all levels of the organization including senior level executives
OTHER SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Product knowledge with Azure, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware
- Experience selling managed services and cloud
- Experience selling Security and Managed Security Solutions
- Ongoing commitment to professional development and industry certifications
- Ability to create rapport with clients to sell
ITW services and offerings
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
- Some evenings and occasional weekend work as required (e.g. client events)
- Travel to client sites and meetings (2550%)
- Ability to work with a variety of challenging clients and communicating with all levels of leadership (including Clevel executives)
