Job Description - Maintenance Person

Job Title - Maintenance


Reporting directly to the Property/Resident Manager, the Maintenance Person is responsible for performing maintenance functions including repairs with respect to the internal and external project structures, facilities and grounds.


Responsibilities:


  • At the direction of the Property/Resident Manager or the Maintenance Supervisor, performs all project maintenance duties, as required.
  • Completes the work outlined on Maintenance Service Orders (MSO's) in a timely fashion.
Ensures that all common areas of the buildings and lands are maintained and that all machinery and

equipment is fully operational.

  • Ensures that all unit turnover work, including insuite maintenance and repairs, are completed prior to occupancy by new tenants. (Must be able to meet deadlines).
  • Ensures that adequate levels of materials and supplies for repairs and replacements are maintained.
  • Interacts with tenants in a courteous and tactful manner at all times with staff, tenants and contractors.
  • Performs various other duties and tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
  • Required to reside on premises

A reliable insured vehicle and a valid Driver's license are a requirement of the position.
