2024 Summer Capital Markets, 4 Months, Global Research - Summer Analyst Program in Toronto/Vancouver
What is the opportunity?
Summer 2024 internship within RBC Capital Markets Global Research in Toronto or Vancouver office for energetic, bright and talented undergraduates and graduates.
The summer program extends for 16 weeks and provides interns the opportunity to gain in-depth, hands-on experience while working and learning alongside our experienced market professionals.
Based on performance during summer 2024 interested students will be get an opportunity to be considering for full time opportunity post-graduation within the Global Markets Program.
What will you do?
Summer Analysts will be assigned various projects that may include:
- Providing research support to the analyst/associate as required
- Updating sectorspecific databases
- Analyzing financial statements, companyspecific information and industryspecific data
- Assisting with drafting research notes and updating marketing presentations
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data points into trends
- Outstanding PC skills, specifically Excel, with ability to quickly learn new platforms (Bloomberg, Thomson One)
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Selfstarter with a strong work ethic, commitment to task and an attention to detail
- Ability to commit to over and above regular work hours and meet time sensitive deadlines as required
- Ability to work and coordinate effectively within a team environment
- Proven capacity to learn quickly
- Demonstrated passion for stock/financial markets
