Primary Duties

Reporting to the Supervisor Customer Care, the successful student will provide support to credit & collection staff in the areas of basic Customer Information System (CIS) functions, data entry, and filing, returned mail, letter preparation, service work preparation as well as other related duties as required using various systems.

Education, Certification and Other Qualifications Required

  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word & Excel) required.
  • Strong mathematical capabilities required.
  • Superior organization skills.
  • Ability to perform well independently and as a team player.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
  • Adaptability in a changing environment.
  • Ability to manage highvolume workloads under timesensitive conditions.
  • Conscientiousness and attention to detail.
Special Working Conditions/Conditions of Employment

  • Fulltime student at a recognized postsecondary educational institution, and returning to fulltime attendance in the Fall of 202
  • Completion of a Criminal Record Check at the employee's own expense, and to the satisfaction of Utilities Kingston.
  • Valid Class 'G' driver's license, considered an asset.
