About the Company:

About the Position:

Based out of Kitchener, the General Laborer will take direction from the team leads on a daily basis, and must be available to travel to various work sites within Kitchener / Waterloo as required.

You'll assist in construction and demolition of buildings, load and transport project material, use a variety of tools and operate machinery within your qualification skill set.

As the General Laborer, you will have the opportunity to support and assist a variety of skilled trades. You'll learn from the best and benefit from personal and professional growth.

You will assist the team in completing jobs on schedule and on budget
Effectively communicate with management, team members, other departments and tenants
Utilize your experience to ensure quality work to is maintained
Be punctual, dependable and have a strong worth ethic
Adhere to all Health and Safety Policies and Procedures

This position will be a full-time Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid G drivers license with a clean record
Minimum two years previous general labor experience, including proficiency with tools as well as a variety of construction skills and techniques.
Ability to work in a physically demanding position
Excellent English communication skills
Ability and desire to learn
Proficient knowledge of use and maintenance of equipment
Ability to work well in a team environment
Heavy lifting and outdoor work will be consistently required
