This position has the primary responsibility of providing essential support to the recruitment team in acquiring top


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful completion of a College Diploma in a Human Resources Program, Business Administration or a relevant equivalent discipline required
  • Minimum two (2) to three (3) years recent Human Resources experience, preferably in a unionized hospital setting required
  • Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate required (training delivered by Health Centre upon hire)
  • Advanced computer skills including full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Meditech required
  • Computer literacy (Excel 70%, Keyboarding 45wpm 95% accuracy) is required
  • Experience interpreting collective agreement language an asset
  • Ability to analyze options and results, identify issues and develop creative solution
  • Ability to maintain or shift focus in accordance with the with the organization's changing priorities
  • Good attendance and work record is required
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to organize projects/ workload in a busy environment
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

  • Must be able to support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in our organization
Criminal Reference Check including the Vulnerable Sector Check recent within six (6) months is a requirement

THE ORGANIZATION


North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) is a unique health care organization with three primary roles: providing acute care services to North Bay and its surrounding communities, functioning as the district referral centre providing specialist services for smaller communities in the area, and it's the specialized mental health service provider serving all of northeast Ontario.

At more than 400 beds, our state-of-the-art regional health centre has over 150 physicians, 2300 employees and 250 volunteers.
