Busy Commercial printer in East Vancouver is looking for a motivated self-starter to join the production team.- Minimum High School Diploma, Manufacturing and/or Graphic Arts related secondary education are an asset
- Minimum 2 years Manufacturing and/or Graphic Arts related work experience
- English oral and written communication
- This is a full time position Monday to Friday 8 hours per day
- Company has a medical and dental plan
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Work closely with production, sales, and management to streamline workflow.
- Create production schedules, monitor and update daily and distribute to the team.
- Assist in coordinating orders through production and/or with suppliers.
- Review orders to ensure accuracy.
- Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishing.
- Work with sales team to ensure projects are running on time and changes and delays are being communicated.
Who we are looking for:
- Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Experience in the printing industry would be an asset, but not required.
- Experience with printsmith software would be an asset, but not required.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Detail orientated. Industry knowledge of production and planning is a definite asset.
- Good computer and data entry skills.
- Mathematically inclined.
- Able to stay focused under pressure
