We currently have an immediate opportunity for an Inside Operations Supervisor based out of the Halifax facility.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will be responsible for ensuring efficient management of the day to day operation in the Cash Logistics and Vault Department.

This includes overseeing Cash Logistics hourly employees, monitoring shipping, receiving, storage & processing of currency, and adhering to safety & security regulations, while maximizing revenue and maintaining customer service standards.

As a member of the Halifax leadership team, you will:

  • Supervise the daily activity of the Cash Logistics and Vault Operations and ensure the compliance.
  • Manage profit and loss, budget, productivity, efficiency and labour costs
  • Lead continuous improvement and customer focus
  • Respond to customer inquiries as required and assist in finding solutions to any unresolved issues
  • Administer corrective action/discipline as required
  • Effectively resolve problems with balancing situations including shortages and overages in all areas
  • Establish and achieve KPIs and KPOs
  • Supervise the daily activities of full and parttime staff.
  • Ensure compliance with security regulations and audit requirements
  • Ensure receipts for all shipments and all cash logistics documents are accurate and meet time sensitive delivery deadlines
  • Assist the Operations Manager with reporting and analysis, in order to maximize efficiencies in the Cash Logistics department
  • Complete monthly billing and processing stats
  • Complete SLA reporting for Halifax Branch

Qualifications:


What we're looking for:

  • You have previous supervisory experience within cash logistics, transportation, the armoured car industry or similar environment
  • You have excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A good analytical proficiency with a strong customer focus and orientation
  • You can manage conflicts directly, cooperatively and with attention to detail
  • You have proven leadership abilities and can make accurate & logical decisions
  • You are selfmotivated and resourceful with the ability to motivate others
  • You have previous experience with Currency/coin Processing, ATM and CompuSafe
  • You have intermediate to advanced skill in Microsoft Excel
  • A valid Possession and Acquisition License ("PAL") for both Restricted and nonRestricted, or the ability to obtain one within six months of taking this position
  • Flexible with your availability to specifically cover nights, and/or days, weekends, afternoons when necessary.
