Your Opportunity:

The Team Lead leads and mentors the Recruitment Operations and e-Records teams within HR Shared Services.

This position provides expert advice to effectively manage and administer recruitment, human resources and employee file management principles, policies, contracts, programs, and procedures.

The incumbent resolves issues that are escalated within HR Shared Services and provides advice, analysis, support and guidance on a range of system, program and process matters that are critical for timely and accurate processing.


Description:


The Team Lead is responsible for developing and executing quality assurance processes, metrics, audits and reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy specific to Recruitment and e-Records Operations.

The incumbent provides a high level of customer service to colleagues and team members, and other internal and external stakeholders, and ensures required outcomes are achieved within established timelines and other parameters.

Major Accountabilities include Lead and mentor Recruitment Operations and e-Records team members. Manage and resolve escalated issues and challenges. Interpret or analyze user requirements and recommend appropriate business solutions considering organization policies, contracts, legislation and processes.

Analyze business processes; identify, evaluate and recommend alternatives to enhance operational efficiency, address issues (people, process, technology) and maintain data integrity.

Trouble shoot anomalies and recommend changes to enhance data and information management, reporting, etc.

Participates in projects/teams relating to system implementation or upgrades; act as liaison with IT/systems professionals to ensure functional requirements relating to changes to contracts, programs or legislation are understood and implemented timely and accurately.

Analyze information from a variety of sources and prepare reports and recommendations.

Required Qualifications:


A baccalaureate degree in Business, majoring in Human Resources or the equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrated by progressively more responsible roles or positions is required.

The incumbent will have a minimum of five years of experience in a high volume, high transaction operational human resources environment, or experience within a recruitment team delivering end to end recruitment, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity.

Progressive experience in Human Resources is required. Recent supervisor experience is required, supervising a large team, within the past 5 years. Significant experience working in a Recruitment Management System and an HR Information System is required.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience in Collective Agreement administration and interpretation are required. Experience working with employee records and electronic document management systems are required. Experience in process improvement is necessary. Ability to function independently in a high demand, multi-tasking environment is required. Ability to present ideas, negotiate, facilitate and problem solve. Excellent customer service skills. Demonstrated research, analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Demonstrated leadership skills. Recent experience working on an HR systems upgrade is required.


Preferred Qualifications:

Significant experience in PeopleSoft and Taleo is preferred. Experience in OnBase or ABBYY is ideal. Experience with supporting and implementing AI Automation is an asset. Change management experience is beneficial.
