Forklift Operator

STATUS:
Full-Time

REPORTS TO:
Warehouse Supervisor

DEPARTMENT:
Supply Chain

Primary Role of This Position

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the timely movement of products to pick locations, putting away products from suppliers to pick and bulk locations, and replenishing pick locations using motorized and non-motorized equipment.

Major Responsibilities

Retrieve stock and stock racking aisles
Labelling skids of products in accordance with company procedures and guidelines
Store stock items on skids in racking
Pull stored stock from upper racking for Material Handlers to put away and/or QC to complete orders
Assist in basic maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and reporting of damage to equipment or infrastructure in a timely manner
Ensure accurate and timely movement of product according to established guidelines
Perform inventory counts and assist the Inventory Control department with inventory maintenance tasks
Other related duties as required

Qualifications

Achieved certification on stand-up reach forklift, order picker and walkie rider pallet truck operation is required
Previous warehouse and material handling experience is required
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs on a consistent basis
Good math skills and high attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with RF gun is an asset
Experience with a computerized AS/400 system is an asset

Hours of Work
Sunday to Thursday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
