This schedule may change based on client's needs and operational requirements.

Qualifications:


  • PSW certification is required.
  • Experience providing direct physical support services to adults with disabilities.

Skills:


  • Ability to meet the support care needs, as directed by the client.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • A physical requirement to be able to transfer clients.
  • Friendly and professional manner.
  • Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills.
  • Effective problem solving and conflict management skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office 365 computer skills (Word, Outlook).
  • Must be able to demonstrate understanding/knowledge of PACE Policies & Procedures.
  • Knowledge of worker responsibilities under the _Occupational Health and Safety Act_.

Wages:
As per "Appendix A" of the UNIFOR Collective Agreement, the hourly rates for this job classification are as follows:

Start Rate:
$20.413


After Probation:
$21.204


After 1Year:
$21.933


After 2 Years:
$22.785

plus $3/hr wage premium for eligible hours worked
