Our Corporate Headquarters, located in Richmond Hill, is looking for a Business Associate to be part of our Rotational Program - STAR (Specialized Training and Reassignment) Program.

In this program, you will be exposed to three different departments:
Brand Management, National Sales and Aftersales.

The STAR program will create a collaborative talent pool of multidisciplinary professionals who will undergo cross functional trainings for a period of 18 months.

Six months will be spent in each of the three departments to understand the core competencies of these business functions.

Upon completion of the program STAR graduates will have a holistic understanding of the automotive industry.

The STAR program will strive to ensure that learning activities are cohesive, purposeful, and relevant to the associate's long-term aspirations within the automotive space.

The start date for the successful incumbent will be September 5th, 2023.


Key responsibilities in the Sales department include:

  • Supporting the team by ensuring accurate and timely setup of BMW & MINI monthly sales incentive programs
  • Supporting the team with daytoday management of BMW Group Canada's Retailer sales receivables
  • Tracking of BMW Group Canada sales program effectiveness and generation of management reports
  • Other duties of a general or unspecified nature as may be required to achieve the overall effectiveness of BMW Group Canada as a whole

Key responsibilities in the Aftersales department include:

  • Producing sales reports using historical data and built-in assumptions to assist in product offering decisions for the Winter and Summer Wheel Kit Programs.
  • Supporting the Business Development team with loose tire product planning and maintenance/development of Customer/Retailer sales/product support platforms
  • Data collection from various sources for general sales reports, metrics and presentations as required
  • Supporting with the successful execution of special edition vehicle planning which involves Accessory products.
  • Supporting the Customer Support Business Development team in validating product information for the Value Service Package program, Wheel Program and other matrices found in product/service detailed programs
  • Assisting with the administration, ordering and life cycle maintenance of our Customer Support agency operation vehicles.

Key responsibilities in the Brand Management department include:

  • Management of small-scale projects and campaigns are required
  • Creation of campaign reports by aggregating a variety of data sources and organizing results to help inform campaign planning activities
  • Providing assistance in the creation of agency briefs, and the facilitation of agency/partner meetings at BMW Group Canada headquarters and various agency partner locations in Toronto
  • Liase with agencies and BMW AG for Media pool/DAM assets
  • Provide assistance with the management, tracking and deployment of promotional incentives

Qualifications:


  • Completed a Master's degree or diploma with focus on Business; preferably in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Welldeveloped oral and written communications skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and a member of a team
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced work environment
  • Full G Driver's License is required
  • Knowledge in visualization programs such as, Tableau or Microsoft Power BI will be considered an asset
  • Coding experience in data processing, aggregation and database management is considered an asset
  • French/German language skills will be considered an asset
