- Demonstrate specific accounting transactions (recording transactions, categorizing assets and liabilities, capital income and expenses, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliation, inventory, depreciation, worksheet income statement sand balance sheet) and facilitate skill practice.
- Expertise in small business taxes, payroll and strategic forecasting model.
- Answer student questions related to a small business environment.
- Revise curriculum, develop appropriate learning activities and teaching plans for each teaching assignment.
- Manage the classroom to provide an optimum learning environment for students.
- Work cooperatively with the Continuing Education Consultant and colleagues in a "team" environment. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Description Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education with a focus on Accounting or Business Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years of instructional methodology or an equivalent combination of postsecondary education and experience.
- CGA, CMA preferred or ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult education to assist learners acquire the required knowledge and skills.
