THE OPPORTUNITY
The Marketing and Communications Representative provides marketing and sales administration support to our New Truck Sales Division for BC.

In this position you will use your marketing, communications and administrative skills and play a key role in marketing, social media engagement, events management and sales administration and work closely with Truck Sales Representatives, Sales Managers and Regional General Managers in driving sales growth for New Truck Sales for the British Columbia region.

Additionally, you will lead projects targeted at helping the team in meeting the goals of the new truck sales department including social media engagement, development of marketing materials, tradeshow management and using CRM to track inventory.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing/Communications/Social Media

  • Create flyers for customer events and trade shows
  • Advertise current and incoming new stock trucks on all truck marketing sites, weekly ads, etc.
  • Take pictures and videos and coordinate placement on truck marketing sites
  • Assist in the development of social media content and maintain social media presence as needed to promote new truck sales

Event Planning

  • Organize tradeshows and support sales team's presence at events including event registration and travel, trade show display set up and breakdown, create flyers, purchase customer giveaways
  • Social media promotion of events
  • Setup sales meetings including in person, group webcast/video meetings

Sales Administration

  • Order brochures and related sales materials
  • Maintain CRM to ensure new truck inventory is accurate
  • Oversee yearly new truck inventory audits
  • Create and maintain sales inventory excel spreadsheets

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Postsecondary degree or certificate program in business with an emphasis in marketing and communications
  • 2+ years' experience in an administration or sales and marketing role supporting a sales organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Digital marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Good organization skills with great attention to detail
  • Related job and internship experience preferred
  • Ability to travel within BC to attend tradeshows and events approximately 10% of time
