- Manage the preparation, review and approval of daily wire transfers.
- Accurately process premiums, losses and fund expense payments.
- Assist with preparation of collateral rebalances.
- Monitor bank accounts for activity.
- Follow up with clients for support of cash movements as required.
- Update cash and collateral reconciliation schedules and book activity as applicable.
- Assist with monthly NAV production.
- Ensure all processes are performed in accordance with operational controls and procedures as stipulated in SOC1 and all relevant checklists are completed.
- Participate actively in various system initiatives and projects.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and reporting packages for reinsurance entities
Qualifications
- Postsecondary education with a concentration in finance, accounting or related fields.
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Working knowledge of insurance and reinsurance terminology and products. Strong computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel is particularly an asset.
- Basic understanding of fund administration industry.
- Strong attention to detail while working in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively and establish positive working relationships with others.
