Description

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with patient checkin and checkout processes
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
  • Perform preliminary tests on patients, such as visual acuity and eye pressure measurements
  • Assist the optometrist with various procedures and examinations
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate electronic medical records
  • Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
  • Dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses to patients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office

Skills:


  • Previous experience in a medical office or retail sales environment is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional patient care
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of front desk operations, including scheduling and insurance verification
