Tremblay Orthodontics is looking for a passionate, energetic, Treatment Coordinator to join our well-established practices in Port Alberni, BC & Qualicum Beach, BC

As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play an important role in meeting potential patients and working with the orthodontist to present treatment and payment options to adults, teens, and children.

The position requires an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

What you will be doing - Responsibilities:

  • Welcome new patients with a friendly and enthusiastic approach.
  • Review the patients, health and medical history and determine their goals for treatment.
  • Assist in the Orthodontists examination, entering data and listening to the conversation between patient and doctor taking appropriate notes in the patient's chart.
  • Review the treatment plan with the patient and use the available tools to educate them on the available options. (Videos, powerpoint, pictures, etc.).
  • Close the sale, by working with the patient and/or responsible party to design financial payment plans that work for them and help our patients attain the beautiful smile they've always wanted.
  • Generate correspondence from initial consultation and recall examinations for the referring dentist.
  • Follow up with patients who are ready to start treatment.
  • Act as a liaison between the doctor and any other dental specialists or general practitioner.
  • Complete monthly reports on key performance metrics.

What you bring - qualifications:

  • 1+ years of Dental or Ortho office experience considered an asset, although willing to train the right person with less health care office experience.
  • Experience as a Treatment Coordinator is considered an asset.
  • Administration skills an asset
  • Computer skills and Knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Certified Dental Assistant an asset.
  • You will be given ample opportunities and time to train with our senior team members.
