Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
  • Able to pull plumbing permits and foster a good working relationship with town and municipality plumbing inspectors
  • Supervise and train apprentices
  • Install plumbing and mechanical systems
  • Daily Site cleanup
  • Complete work as designated with safety in mind, Ensure WCB/ Work Safe BC and company standards are met at all times
  • Manage productivity and profitability on all jobs, Maintain standards of excellence based on performance reviews

Skills

  • Journeyman/woman Plumber license (Red Seal Certification is required)
  • Five years proven experience as a plumber
  • Solid understanding of water distribution and drainage/ venting systems in residential and commercial buildings
  • Ability to handle standard plumbing tools and equipment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly with a great deal of patience
  • Good physical condition and strength with the ability to lift 75 lbs., work in awkward spaces
  • Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship
  • Valid Driver's License and have your own reliable vehicle
$40-48/ Hour DOE


Salary:
$40.00-$48.00 per hour
