Description

Dimatec Inc. is growing and has entry level openings in our furnacing operations. The Products Furnacing, Level 1 position, is primarily responsible for preparing products for the furnace process.

This position is for an evening shift, Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm to 12:00 am and includes a $1.25 shift premium.

Training for this position will be on days, Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm until training is complete.

Responsibilities

Sandblast and prepare steel blanks for assembly.
Assemble products using hydraulic press equipment.
Dispense metal powder and bond alloy materials using digital scale equipment.
Furnace process items using automated or manually operated induction or radiant heating equipment.
Strip bits from graphite molds.
Prepare asfurnaced products for machining using waterjet equipment.
Report all necessary work related information on work order packages as per quality management system requirements.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma.

years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

Physical ability to lift/push loads of up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, perform repetitive tasks, and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.

Applicant should be mechanically inclined, have good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.

Applicant should be familiar with general manufacturing/production practices and have knowledge of weighing tools, gauges, measuring devices, hand and power tools and equipment used in a production environment.

$16.50-$19.00 per hour
